Welcome to Saint Mary Magdalene Parish, serving Point Breeze, Homewood, and Wilkinsburg. Our parish was established on Jan. 6, 2020 from the parishes of St. Bede, Point Breeze; St. Charles Lwanga, Homewood; and St. James, Wilkinsburg.

The churches in the parish are St. Bede, St. James, and Mother of Good Counsel. Current pastor Rev. Lawrence D. Adams was installed on Nov. 5, 2023.

There are many opportunities for spiritual enrichment and service. Our Faith Formation program provides religious education for children and the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA). Bible Study is an opportunity to discover the beauty, truth, and wisdom of Scripture. We invite you to look at our many Ministries/Committees, to learn about them by attending events or meetings and consider participating in one or more activities.
Social Ministry and Community Outreach, welcoming neighbors in need and assisting those who come to our door, is at the heart of the Gospel call to love and service.
